Two center plates with all mill work completed: the jaws are milled to match the frame bolsters, the entire bottom of the depressed area has been cut to the same level, and the formerly octagonal area has been roughed into a circle. All that is left to do to this face of the plates is to return them to the big lathe, and dome the circular protrusion.
